Utah Divorce
I haven't yet identified a DivorceInfo Network Lawyer for Utah. If you don't need a lawyer and just want to file a simple divorce, you can order the forms and do it yourself, or you can get DocuPro to do it for you. The best resources I can find are on the excellent web site provided by Greenwood & Black, including information on a variety of divorce topics, such as child support, division of debts, and taxes. There's also a free, interactive child support calculator. I wish more family law firms made this kind of commitment. The Utah State Courts have a guide called Getting a Divorce that links to other resources on the site, including those dealing with child support, guardianship, and child custody evaluations. Utah is on the forefront of the movement for "virtual visitation" - providing parents and their children time together assisted by technology. Utah Code §30-3-32(d) provides:
I couldn't find anything when I looked, but you can do your own search for books about divorce in Utah. |
