Right now, as part of a judgement made at a PL hearing last year, my son is attending private school and my ex and I are ordered to split the cost 50/50. Final hearing to decide my petition to modify custody is coming up in April. There is no child support between us and there never has been. I want to change our 50/50 custody arrangement to me having primary physical custody. If I win, will my ex have to pay child support and also continue paying half the private school tuition? Or will he just have to pay child support and I am responsible for the full tuition?

Most likely, he'll be paying support and some portion of the tuition. But no one can give you a guarantee.

I wouldn't count on private school tuition, any portion of it, unless your combined incomes exceed $120,000 per year.

If we both make over 120K per year combined, will it matter if I make more, like say 75K of it, when determining if ex will have to pay a portion of the tuition as well as child support?

Yes. At that point, it's a question of what the child's actual needs are, and what's the best way to apportion the expenses fairly between the parents.
