Chart????

I was told that there is a "chart" that the judge's go by as far as how they figure alimony/child support......Does anyone know where a person could get this so called chart, and sort of figure a guess on how thats figured?

If there's a chart for alimony, it must not be widely available. I don't see any sign of it on the web. If judges are using it, though, I bet your lawyer has a copy of it.

I was under the impression in Illinois the Judge decided how much and how long unless the lawyers asked for a specific amount for a certain term.  That's what I got....

yeah you might be right - from what my lawyer told me - and he said he's seen this happen - alot of times the judge will determine if you get alimony/maintenance, is if the judge likes you or not..........mmmm, that does sound funny.........but I suppose it could be true....
I was just trying to get all the info I can before the big step.......I'm having trouble getting full-time work..........I'm not out to screw him......I just want to beable to live without having to "worry" too damn much...................even though its as hard as it is, I still have to look out for myself, as he'll be okay.....................and I'll be the one counting "every penny"...............
