Never be too proud to apologize first.

A careful Mom (Dad) I aught to be, a little shadow watches me. I donot dare go astray, for fear she'll go the self-same way. Not once can I escape her eyes, whatever she sees me do she tries. Like me she says she gonna be, that little girl who watches me. I must remember as I go, through summer sun and winter snow, I'm molding for the would to see......that little girl who watches me.
I have used this poem as my moral compass through the past year, to reign myself back in when my nature wants me to "get even", say things I know I will regret later, or try to hurt him as he has hurt me. I want to get through this with my faith, morals and dignity in tack. I know I will fall short of this goal so let me apoligize in advance.
