I am so sorry lost. I know how much you must be hurting. Don't let him bring you down though, it's not worth wasting your emotions on him. All he wants is to make you hurt, make you angry, that way he can still think that he is controling the situation. Show him that you are happy with out him, don't give him that power over you.
I don't have any advise about the kids, I don't have kids, I do know how I felt when my parents got divorced. It was very scary, and I was mad at both of them, even though now I know that it was my dad in the wrong. They are probably confused and angry. Unfortuatley they take it all out on you.
I hope that things start to look a little better.
