How is ecrow accounts divided in a divorce?  I bought my ex's portion of the house and he wants the ecrow to be divided.  I don't think he is entitled to the money?  The ecrow account was not in the divorce settlement.

If you have acquired the house, in all likelihood you've acquired the escrow account that goes with it. You can check with your lawyer to see how your local courts address it, or you can just tell your Ex that this issue is settled and it's time for him to move on, then let him decide if he wants to fight about it.
