Could be ... although it would appear that they took only specific items ... an expensive large contractors saw and cordless drills.  Something which would either be useful to them or that they knew the value of.

If the theif stole a great big table saw, that means he needed to be driving a great big truck and probably had help.  That doesn't sound like a crackhead to me.  I think Reset's on to something. Just sayin'

you can put a table saw on a mini cooper. It don't take a big truck to haul a table saw. Besides, crackheads drive too. If it's a construction worker it's a crackhead construction worker.

Just to clear this up, it wasn't a table saw, that was sitting in the driveway and they didn't touch it  Roll Eyes, they took a sliding compound miter saw with duel sliders and laser sighting ( Angry loved that saw....). It was on a foldup stand with wheels, but they left that. They took tools because that's all that's in there right now ( under construction). They took all my other stuff back in October.
My guess is you're both right, up here, if you are an out of work "construction worker", chances are you're a crack head. Or a dope.fiend.

Yowzers - Now I wanna go find the rotten scumbag louses who stole from you. A saw like that makes any job nicer to complete. Those HGTV remodeling shows can just pan the camera past the hunky carpenters standing next those sweet power tools - makes me want to go off to trade school.

Sluggo Just got done eating at Donald's Donuts. Grin  While I was taking a big bite out of my jelly filled donut, I saw two construction workers walk by carrying a couple drills, a saw, and a couple crack pipes.  I didn't think anything about it.  I also overheard them say, "can you believe that guy would still have things laying around after the first time we robbed him." Grin

Seriously, I am sorry to hear of the invasion by the upstanding individuals in your neighborhood.  I know your frustration level has to be reaching its peak.  Rightfully so.  I am glad to hear you got some easy extra side jobs to help you upgrade your saw though. If you need anything, I am a phone call away.

It is great to see, even though you are going through a tough time, that you still have your sense of humor.  "Some people say they find great rewards in working till they are 80 years old."  That was some funny stuff right there.  I am still laughing about that comment.

Your a great witness, brother, hang in there and keep looking up.  God Bless TG

I am sorry.  I don't mean to make lite of a real life situation.  It has been a long hual for you, and I am proud of the way you have and are handling it.  I know that everyone here at HEO has been touched by your words of encouragement, truthfulness, humor, and your faith.  I am forever thankful for your encouraging me with your advice when I was in my "woe is me" periods and you telling me to keep the faith when I was feeling faithless.  I would not be where I am today if it wasn't for you and all of HEO'ers help.

I am ticked off that these loser's chose to rob you of your belongings again, but there is nothing I can do about it, it is out of my jurisdiction. Grin You know I would have arrested them and prosecuted them if I could, but shooting them in the backside requires alot of paperwork and probably an investigation. Cheesy

Your in my prayers, brother.  Hang in there.  There is light at the end of the tunnel....... and it is not a train.

Thanks, TG

On a positive note, I finally passed my 4 way inspection this morning and can now proceed with insulation and sheetrock. I might get this sucker done yet.....now I just have to find a way to sell it and move on.

On a less positive note, I have a meeting with the HR department today at 2:00 over an incident this week that shouldn't have been a blip on the radar, but has mushroomed into something out of my control but could have implications on my continued employment. I am a tad distraught at the moment and could use some prayers for my seriously depleted mood (understatement alert.....)

Prayers being sent up and good thoughts going your way.

You know what I think about this whole ridiculous, bogus situation at your work....I'm sure it'll all turn out just fine.  Smiley
And congrats on passing the inspection with the house, one more step toward being able to complete the past and move on to a new place in your life.
