 Angry
Apparantly whatever drug addict Lowlife punk that robbed the mancave last October got greedy again. This time, he/they/it broke into the house (the one I'm still building for my now former wife.... Tongue), and stole my brand new Makita contractor saw, and two cordless drills, and who knows what else. $1000 +, at least.
My tools and truck are essentially all I still own post divorce, so this kind of a big deal for me. The fact that I am no longer able to replace them just makes it worse. I hope State Farm is willing to step up again. And it was such a nice day......

Very sorry to hear this.

Hopefully your insurance will step up...and hopefully whomever robbed you gets caught soon.

It's time you buy a security camera Mike.

This is going to happen again. I would have installed one right after the first robbery. That stuff isn't cheap to replace and your insurance company may get tired of coving if you don't set something up. They may think you are behind it all.

Sorry if I sound heartless..not trying to. Just trying to shake you enough to protect yourself and be able to throw this SOB in jail.

I'm soooo sorry this happened again.

Honestly? After the first time, I wouldn't have left any of that stuff sitting there.

Really?  And where would you suggest I keep my tools?

Point is, I could install cameras, alarms, guard dogs, booby traps.....but I shouldn't have too. It's my fookin home, not a business.

That sucks.   Angry

When did you get robbed the first time?  You think it's the same person?

They robbed my living space over the garage, and the garage, in October.  This time they broke into the house and took only a couple things, but worth a lot. The drills I can replace, but the saw I saved up for for a while,  like $700 worth, and can't afford to buy another one, and can't finish the house without it... Angry    Add in the fact that I don't particularly want to build the damn thing in the first place......whatever.
Yeah, same assholes, same MO. I nailed all the back doors shut and might start keeping the dogs in there during the day. Of course, if my dog attacks a burglar, I'll probably get arrested and sued..... Roll Eyes

No biggy, I'm sure y'all got bigger problems than this.    Tongue

Everyone's problems are big to us if they are big to themselves. I know money doesn't just grow on trees. Can you secure the equipment in your vehicle?
