LOL@ Hoss!

You know what I call the so-called "granny panties?"  Period panties!  LOL..TMI, I know.

I do like to wear the pretty/sexy undies.  Have always done it, single or not.  Just something for me, ya know?  I need to buy stock in Victoria's Secret. Smiley

I'm the same way, unless I'm too sick to care, there's only one week a month I'll wear them.

sometimes he didn't even know because I was wearing them for me.

I only got away with that ONCE.  After that, he would always make a point of either asking or 'taking a peak' because he was always afraid of missing his chance to see me in his favorites.  Used to annoy the heck out of me, but now, looking back, it just makes me laugh.  Cheesy

Dang you guys had fun last night !!    Grin   Granny panties, heee he heee , I wear them when I do not want panty lines showing under my slacks or rockies.   G's are cute and my girls are constantly trying to get me a pair!  They are so picky about the shape of the back, triangular or square or rectangular.. ahhhh dang TO much work.  So if there is so little 'fabric' why wear any?    And I wouldn't know about the once a month thing.. they took the 'equipment' and left the 'playground' many many years ago  Wink

You'd think the guys would like the idea of 'layers' cause instead of knowing what's there they'd be wondering how to get to 'there'.

I love pretty undies and like my 'panties' to hold my cammies down now that I'm not wearing teddy's then again maybe it's time.   I suppose a men's Tshirt or loose work shirt wouldn't need a cammie tho!   Daytime drama the stuff nighttime is made of~~    Grin

I think you last several gals have us guys figured out. When I talk about Granny Panties I'm talking about the ones that go up to your belly button and are low cut around the leg so there is more material to them than I have in my t shirts. A little sexiness goes a long way. I'll throw another one out there to make some gals upset. Loose fit jeans on gals is a crime. I have not met a gal, regardless of size, that doesn't look better in tighter jeans than looser jeans, provided they fit properly. Heck, I even wish tighter jeans would come back in style for guys too.

I am a big fan of jeans and wearing them well...with business dress becoming more casual these days I even wear them when I'm presenting in front of large audiences or have to attend meetings if it's a Friday. No "mom" jeans for me.  Cheesy

Hey do you mean these kind of granny panties..... Grin Grin

Cam

However tight your jeans are, the tighter the better.   Wink

NC

I just heaved on the floor.

Now I just need to find someone to go jean shopping with me. I have always had problems figuring out what looks good on me and what is in fashion.

That's the real definition, unfortunately some guys see anything that comes in a package as granny panties.  I personally can't stand anything that sits high on the waist.  The closest I get are bikinis or what they call 'boy shorts'.

LOL. I know what you mean.  Unfortunately, now that I'm getting my health back, I've been losing weight.  My jeans are quickly becoming 'mom' jeans...they're getting too baggy for comfort.  Cheesy

That's another vote from me as well.

Wranglers are nice and Levi's bring a rise then again your on the other end  Shocked  Kiss

I'm relearning too.   I was a misses 12 in D and now I'm a 9 almost an 8.  Bought a pair of jeans in the juniors the other day to get the legs long enough.   I'm not sure I like the lack of curves tho.   I even had to start wearing a dadgum belt again.  I prefer stretch jeans.  I know most people frown on em.  The good ones don't look like stretch and for me working outside or riding they are just more comfortable.   I think men are really more comfortable in a good pair of stretch jeans for working too.  Wrangler makes a really cute pair for guys.   My sons wear Carhartts or Carpenter style jeans.  Then wranglers or Levi's.   Depends on which ones according to the work they do it seems to reflect the style of jeans they wear all the time.

I remember the old days of laying on the bed to zip em' up... now if I can't button or zip the little buggers while I'm standing then they go to the girls!!   Damn I used to be little.  The belt I used to wear with my hip huggers now fits my waist!!   And I thought I was fat then !!

I don't like my jeans too loose they catch on the barbs and stickers in the woods.  If I'm working I want them to stretch and still be close to me!

I can't stand anything up around my waist either.  I've always worn bikinies or mid rise.. I do like the boy shorts those are really cute.  Especially if lacy.

Buying jeans are always a frustration for me.  Short length are too short, regular is too long.  Finding medium length jeans isn't always easy.

Right now my closet options are 10s and size 6 and smaller.  My 10s are too big, 6s are wearable but tight.  One of my first 'gifts to myself' when I can will be clothes.   Grin
It is funny looking back at old photos and remembering how fat I thought I was back in the day, I wish I realized it back then though.  I remember doing the whole lay on the bed thing when I was a teenager, young girls are insane aren't they?!  My mother told me that when she was in high school (after they started allowing girls to wear jeans to school) that her/her sister would lay on the bed and the other one would use pliers to get them zipped.  Grin Too funny.

Your momma must be my generation!  A good pair of rubber gripped pliers in shades of pink and black are a girl's best friend!

I remember when we couldn't wear empire waistline dresses because they looked to much like maternity clothes and then the hippie craze and oh man.  Always a rebel.  I actually painted sandals on my feet and got a way with it for weeks before the 'old' people figured it out!!   Hot pants under an army coat and flowers painted on our legs really freaked lots of people out!!  DAng away back then you couldn't even get on a military base unless you were wearing a dress.

Things are a tad different now!

Sluggo you just love tipping your toes in the water and your backside in the warm sand.. I'll drink your Jaeger !!   Grin

Mmmmhhhh...so are your participating now?  Cheesy

Well I'm a city gal so my favorite jeans are GAP curvy or sexy fit jeans - they have a wee bit of stretch in them and hug me in all the right places. I like them slightly boot cut so I can wear boots or heels with them.  I usually get them in a dark wash denim to wear for work. I used to wear a size 8 but lately I've lost so much weight that my 6's are a little on the not tight enough side, so may have to go down to a 4 if I don't stop losing! My daughter's are calling me the incredibly shrinking woman!

Yeah I used to manage a jean store back in my youth and I've seen pliers, hangers used. Girls used to lie down right in the store and straddle each other to help zip up each others jean....crazy. And I'd have to say if you break 'em... you buy 'em and we did a bang up business in replacing broken zippers. Now a days with the rise being so low on so many styles the zippers are pretty short and you're not trying to zip them over your tummy so it's makes it much easier, also the bit of lycra in the denim helps. As far as granny panties go - you can't wear them or they'd poke out the top of today's jeans, unless you're wearing "mom" jeans.

For men I favor Eddie Bauer type relaxed fit which are pretty flattering or boot cut. I like clean lines and a manly silhouette rather than too metrosexual.

Wolfy if I was in spittin' distance I'd take you shopping in a heartbeat. The biggest thing is that if you like what you see in the mirror yourself and you're comfortable you tend to carry yourself better and that makes that bit of snappin' difference. I don't like shopping per se but I think I've got a good eye for what looks good and spent a lot of years in retail fashion in my younger years and I live in a town that has the largest mall in North America so I think my qualifications are pretty good.  Cheesy
