Hello All:
I am in Jefferson County.  The courts issued a Writ of Arrest because my ex is about $14,000 behind in payments.  It's been about 2 months and nothing has happened.  Is it wise for me to contact the Sheriff's office to check on the progress?  I'm told by friends that unless he happens to get stopped for a traffice violation, he probably won't get picked up since the deputys have bigger fish to fry.
Is there anything that I can do to speed up the process?
