My husband has money that I can't locate.  I wonder if anyone else has discovered a way to know where it may be.

Oh my yes!!  I know and so do most others.  He at one time admitted to quite a bit invested.  Doesn't matter if you can't find it you will waste more money trying to.

Here in Montana, either one has the legal and marital right to access their monies and use those monies in any way they choice without being the court's business.

Only after or if there is a big chunk accountable just before filing is it then the court's business.

Wish I had been so very frugal in my monetary ways as my stbx!!   Wink

If you can't locate it, how do you know he has it? If you can document missing moneys (even if you don't know exactly where they are), a judge could compel him to produce those financials. You may also need to hire a forensic accountant - but that can be expensive, so you need to determine if the amount of money you're looking for makes that worthwhile.
