Well, this just plain sucks. I was on vacation when this started, heard about it on a phone mail from spryte.

As much as we argued and disagreed on most things in life, I would never wish this on her.

A little late in joining, I found out from Lori a few days ago and it has been on my mind, especially tonight and I've just read the news. I haven't been around in several years, but have fond memories of Nina and I remember wishing I could be so brave to speak my mind like she did!

Tears and laughter have both been in full flow reading through the posts and the reminiscing on the happier times. It's amazing reading the outpouring of love, compassion and support here for her, and her family.

You are much loved, and forever remembered, rest in peace.

It has been such a long time and I just now got word. I never met Ashanne but I appreciated her spunk and tenacity about the things she believed in. She was so full of life and I got the feeling she knew how to enjoy life, even when life was throwing lemons at her. My heart goes out to all of you who knew her and loved her and are hurting. She is living on in your memories and stories and I know she won't be forgotten. Sincerely, Elle/Liz (as you first knew me 11 years ago).
