my x has died and in court order states he would pay the second on house

what are my options he is not on the house laon anymore just yhe second he owed a fishing lodge can i put a lein on his lodge?   kathy

if his name was on the second mortgage on the house, the bank should file a lein against his estate.  If the bank/mortgage company only has a lein against the jointly owned property you will probably have to file a claim against his estate.  do you know if he had a will? if so, who the executor of the estate is?  I believe you will need to file something in probate court when the will/his estate is probated.

I strongly suggest you contact your attorney as to when and where to file.
