My ex also testified in court (for support modification) that he worked another job last year and made several thousand dollars "under the table".  The comissioner shrugged it off and asked if he had used it to pay tuition for high school.  Of course my ex said yes, so the comissioner continued on and said that was fine.  Isn't working without paying taxes against the law?  He had failed to disclose this on his financial statement, and only admitted to it under my questioning.

If you think he should be paying taxes on the cash he got then report it to the IRS. That would be the more apprpriate agency.

I've heard that reporting someone to the IRS means that the reporter herself (or himself) automatically gets audited as well.
