Hi Lee, thanks for this site!
My ex and I have been divorced for three years and he has stopped seeing our children. He only calls them, because his girlfriend does not want them at there home.
I have found out he has quit  his job and he is not planning on keeping insurance on the children and not send any childsupport. He also owes me for back medical bills for the children.
I don't have money for a lawyer. Will DHR handle this for a small fee. Please what steps do I take first?
God Bless,

First step is to stop by DHR's office in your area.  You'll need to call and make an appointment.  Are you in Alabama?  If so look here to find info on the procedure, forms to print out & fill out, and find your local office:

Good luck!

PS: DHR can only help with support, not visitation.  If he doesn't want to see the kids (girlfriend or whatever) you can't make him.  Chalk it up as his loss and be thankful your children aren't around that girlfriend person!

And one other thing: DHR cannot help you with the back medical bills; you'll have to do that separately.
