My wife and I have four rental properties of which she is keeping.  When she calculated her income in order to figure out how much child support I will be paying, she did not include the income from the rental properties.  Should she have included this figure?

And thanks to everyone who is offering their advice.  It is appreciated.

Yes, she should have or at least half of it until after the settlement and divorce are final.  But she isn't the one who gets to calculate child support.  The court does this using state guidelines.

However, since the two of you are still married, half the income is yours.  And you are responsible for half the debt.

I really do suggest getting an attorney.
