790 - Using the Divorce LineThe divorce line from Alabama Family Law Center has hours of information ‑ all free of charge, and all designed specifically to help people like you here in Alabama get through their divorce and move on with their lives with a minimum of pain and expense. There's no requirement that you listen to all the information here or that you listen to it in any particular order. Just wander around, checking what's interesting to you. Feel free to listen to a message more than once if you'd like. It's easy to get a list of all the programs available here. Just go to page 103 of the BellSouth Yellow Pages or page 68 of YellowBook and look for the ad that says "Survive Divorce." Or you can go to my web site, Divorceinfo.com, and click on the link that says "Divorce Line ‑ Free Help on the Phone." You'll get a full list of the programs available. If you're listening to a program and want to hear it again, press the * key. The lady will tell you that's an invalid selection, and then you'll hear the program again from the beginning. If you're listening to a program and you've had enough and want to listen to another message ‑ don't worry, I won't get my feelings hurt ‑just press "Pound" and you'll be prompted to request another program. At the end of each program you can press zero to connect to my personal line. So whenever you've gathered enough information and would like to set up an appointment with me, just let me know and we'll take it from there.
