The Borden Family

Welcome to the Borden family, where the women are strong, the men are smart enough to have married them, and all the children are above average. Really. My wife Amanda and I have been happily married for 36 years, and we have two wonderful children, Joe and Adrian.

I'm the fourth of four boys. My oldest brother Tom has just retired from his CPA practice at Aldridge, Borden & Co. in Montgomery, Alabama. He's the least selfish of the brothers. My next brother Ruffin is a retired systems analyst for International Paper Co. in Memphis. He's the smartest. My next brother Dave (we in the family call him Dave Gray) is also a CPA, also at Aldridge, Borden & Co. in Montgomery. Dave Gray has the best people skills in the family and is the most successful professionally. I'm the baby, and I'm the happiest.

My father, who died in 1994, was also a CPA (is this getting monotonous?). My mother, who died 10 years later in 2004, was a bookkeeper and dear friend to all her sons.
